Who we are

TMF Auto offers emergency towing service and is an on site mobile car repair shop. That’s right, we come to you. We can do any job a stationary repair shop or dealership can do but we come to you to do it. Right about now you’re probably saying to yourself, “Sure, but I bet they can’t repair (insert any vehicle problem here) on site”. Well, you’re wrong. Anything a shop can do we can do in the same amount of time, with high quality personal service, and lower costs.

Our experience

We have 20 years of dealership experience under our belts. There is nothing we haven’t seen or fixed before. When your car breaks down on some dark and lonely road don’t call for a tow. Why bring a middle man into it? Don’t ever for a second think that your vehicle’s problem can’t be fixed on site because in most cases its no trouble at all. Through our experience at traditional repair shops and our years of practice providing on site repairs with TMF Auto, we know first hand that the shops aren’t the only ones that can get the big jobs done.

Through our experience providing on site repairs we have developed a system and a set of guidelines that have allowed us to do the same repairs the dealership can do. The difference is we can do it anywhere, for less, and we can especially do it quick. “But what about the quality?” you ask. We use only genuine parts (unless otherwise instructed by you) and have all the tools needed for your repair.

We have a passion for what we do

For a decade an a half we saw countless vehicle owners coming to the dealership unhappy and leaving the same way they came in. They offered excellent customer service and guaranteed their work so why were so many customers leaving the shop still upset? The answer is convenience.

Death and taxes aren’t the only things that are certain in this life – mechanical breakdowns are too. Its a fact of life that every automobile owner will have to pay for maintenance and repairs on their car or truck regardless of how new it is, how reliable the brand is, or how well maintained it is. Its never convenient when something goes wrong with your car and we saw many motorists forced to call for a tow because they got stranded on the dreaded proverbial “dark, lonely road”. On top of paying for towing they often had to wait days for repairs to be finished relying on friends and family for transportation and in some cases having to shell out even more cash for a loaner vehicle. Once the bill came due they had paid far more in expenses unrelated to the repair itself than to the actual work done on their car. Then there were the cases where the customer couldn’t afford a tow and drove their crippled vehicles to the shop themselves. Unfortunately, they too had to unnecessarily spend even more money as driving their car or truck to the shop had caused even more damage on top of the original problem.

We saw this and knew there must be a better way. We left the dealership and came up with the idea for TMF Auto. Our service is superior to any traditional dealership or mechanic shop in that we can do what they cannot. We are located in the Southwest suburbs of Chicago. Our roughly 40 mile service area includes most of Chicago and the outlying areas including Aurora, Naperville, Bolingbrook, Orland Park, Homer Glen, Tinley Park, Lockport, Joliet, and more.
